Kevin M. Altieri, DDS with his family in front of a giant hay baleDr. Kevin Altieri graduated from Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. He is the first alumni from his high school to become a doctor. He pursued his undergraduate studies at West Texas State University, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 1987. He continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1992. Dr. Altieri has practiced in the Fort Worth, Texas, area since 1994.

Each year Dr. Altieri completes over 100 hours of continuing education in dentistry, emphasizing sleep dentistry, dental implants, and reconstructive dentistry. He has received advanced training through various residencies and study clubs, including a Hospital Dentistry Residency at the VA Hospital in Temple, Texas, the Spear Study Club, the Center for Advanced Dentistry in Dawson, and the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry. He is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and completed a study in preceptorship implants at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Altieri has been named the Top Dentist in Fort Worth and as Top Doctor by Texas Monthly for the past 14 years. He is a member of the following professional organizations:

As a doctor, Dr. Altieri strives to be a coach and a teacher, providing his patients with instruction and Information, and helping every patient achieve and maintain excellent oral health.

Dr. Altieri and his wife of 22 years, Tierni, have two children, Vincent and Nicole. His hobbies include cycling, snow skiing, photography, hiking, bass fishing, and raising longhorns. He also volunteers as a group leader at his church’s high school ministry.
